WFETN Welcomes Angela Howard to the Board

Angela Howard brings 33 years of broad business experience in for-profit and not-for-profit business management and entrepreneurship. Angela’s prior experiences include Regional Account Executive for Coca-Cola USA, Portfolio manager for Atlanta Financial Group, Owner/operator of a trail blazing bistro, catering and event management, owner of a Body-Psychology practice and movement studios, workshop leader, writer, and speaker. She earned her BA in Psychology from Hollins University and an International Master’s Degree in Business and Finance at the University of Monaco. In 1999, she went to the Omega Institute for a certification as a Somatic Movement Therapist.

In 2007, she moved back to Knoxville with her two boys and opened URBhana, a “Creative Life Center.” Angela is approved by the Certified Coaches Federation, a member of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association, and a certified facilitator for Strong Communities. In 2012 she was the Executive Director of Fort Loudon Lake Association, and she continued working in non-profits as the Development Director for Tennessee Clean Water Network and as Executive Director for the Legacy Housing Foundation.
