JC Holdway Spring Soirée Success

On the evening of Monday, May 2nd, Co-Chairs Todd & Andrea Flanders, Laura Cole (Women’s Fund Board Member), and Chef Joseph Lenn hosted a Spring Soirée to benefit the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee. The J.C. Holdway event, presented by KaTom and Axiom Wealth Management, featured a delightful five-course dinner prepared by James Beard Award-Winning Chef Joseph Lenn, with wine pairings from Paul Hobbs Winery. Guests enjoyed Chef Lenn’s usual, delectable foods and warm conversation, all while sipping wine pairings from the Russian River Valley, Napa Valley, and Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco Argentinian regions. The wine experience was guided by sommelier Carlo Riggio. The generosity of the attendees and sponsors of the soiree raised over $21,000. Added to the previous two years of spring events, the team at J.C. Holdway has contributed over $75,000 to the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee.

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to these event sponsors, the host committee, and attendees, as well as Stanton Webster of PostModern Spirits, who sponsored the cocktail hour, graphics by Cathy Wahl, and music by Rob Cameron and Jim Davis. We are grateful for all those who came together to make access to post-secondary education a reality for the young women and girls we support.
