JC Holdway Benefit Dinner for WFET

James Beard Award Winning Chef Joseph Lenn Benefits the Women’s Fund at JC Holdway.

Board member Laura Seery Cole was sharing the work of the Women’s Fund with good friend Chef Joseph Lenn when he said, “what can I do to help?” They cooked up a winning event to raise funds and create awareness. On November 4, 42 guests attended a special event at J.C. Holdway that began with a champagne reception followed by a five-course meal prepared by Chef Lenn and wine pairings provided by Frederick Corriher. Beautiful music was provided by Rob Cameron and Jim Davis. Several special auction baskets went to lucky winners Norma Scogin, Ashley Capps, and Linda Bailey. Thanks to the generosity of Chef Lenn the event raised $14,000 to benefit WFET. The evening was a great success.

Such a successful evening was had that Chef Lenn has agreed to host another dinner benefiting the Women’s Fund next year. Stay tuned!
